A basic understanding of numerical weather prediction,
high speed computation techniques, and a flair for
understanding tropical cyclones are desirable. Approximately 35 young scientists and scholars from operational,
academic, and research institutions from India and the
United States will be invited to participate on a sponsorship basis. A imited number of seats will also be available
to young scholars and students from countries other than
India and the United States.
