Computational Mechanics (Forward and Inverse Problems):
My research interests are driven towards understanding complex dynamical behavior of solid material in the context
of engineering problems. The overall objective is to establish concepts for predictive analysis and optimization of
material behavior under mechanical and non-mechanical in
uences. Although I am interested in exploring varied
state-of-the-art aspects of mechanics, I find the following three challenging problems particularly exciting:
1) Designing engineered material via upscaled macroscopic law.
2) Dissipative processes (e.g. plasticity) in nonequilibrium regime.
3) Inverse problems in mechanics.
