Evaluation of the Earth Atmosphere, Thermo-dynamics of the dry and moist air, Hydrological Cycle in the atmosphere, Physics of the clouds and precipitation processes, Atmospheric radiation and radiation balance, Fundamentals of Atmosphere Fluid Dynamics, forces in the atmosphere for the seize less wind, Equations of motion in rotating frame and Coriolis force, Vorticity and Divergence, Types of the motions in the atmosphere (such as geostrophic, ageostrophic, cyclonic, anti-cyclonic etc.), Thermal Wind, Introduction to Atmospheric turbulence, Weather and climate systems in the tropics,  general circulation of the atmosphere, distribution of temperature, moisture, radiation, precipitation and evaporation in the tropics, convective systems and Inter tropical convergence zone, Monsoon, Tropical Cyclones, Severe thunderstorms and other extreme weather events in tropics.
