Effect of stresses imposed on body. Design from the view point of biomechanics, Work posture analysis, Static and Dynamic work, The visual, auditory and thermal environment and their impact on design. Design for the physically challenged. Controls and display Psycho physiological aspects of design. Research techniques in Ergonomic data generation, interpretation and application of statistical methods. Case analysis. Mini Project work involving Ergonomic design research for product system.
