Technology Incubation Centre new

With the objective of encouraging students to take up entrepreneurship, the Institute has established an in-house technology incubator, as a part of well-thought-of incubation-cum-entrepreneurial eco-system. This facility is going to be made available to the outgoing students and to the faculty of the institute.

The following facilities may be provided to students who enroll as entrepreneurs in singles or teams and for a period of upto 2 years, to start with:
  • Limited office and work space in the premises
  • Internet facility, electricity, and water facility of the institute
  • Hostel facility, if available
  • Laboratory and workshop facilities
  • Mentoring services and venture funding linkages
  • Laboratory consumables to a maximum of Rs.1 Lakh per annum
  • Special loan schemes from banks

Selection Procedure

Applications for the incubations invites time to time. An individual or a team of individuals can apply in the prescribed format and each individual or team will make a presentation before the selection committee. The project proposals will be selected on the basis of their novelty and potential.

First round of selection held on 13th April 2016 and four teams were selected.

Second round of selection held on 3rd May 2017 and four teams were selected.

Third round of selection held on 20th April 2018 and three teams were selected.

Fourth round is open. Last date of application: 10/04/2019
