About Ph.D. Summer School
School of Electrical Sciences, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Bhubaneswar, in collaboration with the IEEE Power Electronics (PELS), is organizing PhD summer school 2023 for research scholars and young working professionals with Power Electronics and its application background from 10 -14 July 2023. This weeklong summer school will be hosted at IIT, Bhubaneswar. The objective is to encourage brilliant young minds to build careers in areas of Power Electronics and its application. There will be talks and demonstrations by delegates from abroad, IITs, IISc faculty, research students and industry professionals to introduce the attendees to the area of interest and let them know the applications, current challenges and emerging trends. We expect 100+ students to join from top engineering colleges including IITs and NITs from all over the country.

Selection
After receiving all of the applications, we will shortlist students based on the details filled up by them in the application form or online interview (if required).
Registration
Selected candidates will have to complete final registration by filling up a registration form which will be made available on the website.
Entry To the Summer School
After completing the final registration, candidates will receive a formal invitation letter which will serve as an entry pass for the summer school.
