IIT Bhubaneswar mourns the death of the student, investigation on to ascertain the cause of death

22nd Oct, 2019 Bhubaneswar: In an unfortunate incident, Chirag Pravin Jain, an academically bright 2nd Year, Computer Science Engineering student of IIT Bhubaneswar was found dead on 21st Oct, 2019 during evening hours. The parents of the deceased have already been informed. Local Police is currently investigating the matter and trying to ascertain the exact cause of death.

IIT-Bhubaneswar condoled the death of its student. "This is indeed an irreparable loss to the institute and the family. May his soul rest in peace," the institution said.
