Prof S R Samantaray received a major funding from CPRI Bangalore for grid automation
Prof S R Samantaray received 1.93 Cr funding from Central Power Research Institute (CPRI) Bangalore for the proposal entitled "Design, Development and Demonstration of a Centralized Protection and Monitoring (CPM) System within a Distribution Substation including DER". The project is supported under the National Perspective Plan (NPP) scheme of CPRI Bangalore. The research project aims to develop and demonstrate distribution substation automation technology which will replace the large number of physical IEDs in the existing systems, providing state of the art monitoring, operation and control function within the substation.
