Institute holds Vigilance Awareness Week 2015

Vigilance Awareness Week 2015 is being observed in the Institute during 26-31st October, 2015 as per the notification of Central Vigilance Commission (CVC). To commemorate this celebration an inaugural function was organized in the auditorium at Samantapuri campus on 27 October 2015.
 
On the occasion, the Director, Prof. R. V. Raja Kumar addressed the gathering of faculty, students and staff members and administered the pledge. In his speech the Director reiterated the impact of Preventive Vigilance for putting a check on corrupt practices in the line of the theme of CVC for this year’s observance. He emphasized to enumerate the ethical standards by one and all to contribute in the nation building.  He also read out the message given by the first citizen of our country and the Visitor of the institute, Hon’ble President of India Shri Panab Mukherjee ji.
 
Prof. Sujit Roy, Dean (Faculty & Planning) and Prof. V.R. Pedireddi, Dean (CE) read out the messages of Hon’ble Vice-President of India and Hon’ble Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi Ji, respectively. The Registrar, Dr. D. Gunasekaran spoke out the message given by Central Vigilance Commission on the occasion.
 
The meeting ended with vote of thanks to the chair and with a promise to inculcate the spirit of observance of this Vigilance Week.
