Abstract:

Dalmia is a leading Indian businessman who has been creating health consciousness – through talks on “Healthy Way of Life” to propagate healthy lifestyle through own example. Through naturopathy and healthy habits, thorough research and practice he has made a summary of the secret of his good health in a simple talk of 120 minutes which he shares with all, specially colleges, schools, teachers, Doctors and mothers who are real stakeholders in development of a healthy child/family.

Biography:

Mr. M. H. Dalmia is a leading Indian businessman, from a prominent business family with consolidated revenue of US$250 million. Bachelor of Chemical Engineering from Jadavpur University (1961), he secured gold medal for top rank. He leads a number of companies with diversified interests, including cement, industrial ceramics, mechanical engineering and mining. He is President, OCL India Ltd. The company is a leading cement and industrial ceramics company. Its current thrust is to expand its cement manufacturing in eastern India and develop international markets and joint ventures for its industrial ceramics business. He has led group in various sectors and international operations and held leadership positions in various Indian business associations. He has been the Director of several other Group companies: Dalton International Ltd (UK), Hari Machines Ltd, J K Paper Ltd. Presently, he is a member of the Managing Committee of the Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry and Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry. He has set up schools in backward districts of Orissa and gave financial support for further education in better schools to underprivileged students including National Bravery Award children. He also funded IT centre for girls’ UNIVERSITY in Rajasthan (Banasthali). He has been actively encouraging talent in diverse fields such as music and fine art.
