Ms. Swagata Bisoi, Ph.D. student of Civil Engineering under supervision of  Dr. S. Haldar got Indian Geotechnical Society (IGS) and Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) biennial award for her paper entitled, "Effect of climate change on dynamic behavior of monopile supported offshore wind turbine structure" published in Proceedings of 15th Asian Regional Conference on Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering (15ARC), Fukuoka, Japan. The paper has been adjudged as the best paper on "Marine Geotechnical Engineering" published through the Indian Geotechnical Society.
