Dr Tirtha Roy Biswas is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering, School of Infrastructure, Indian Institute of Technology Bhubaneswar. His research work is focused on the development of numerical solutions to shallow water equations using the finite volume approach. Currently, he is working on depth-averaged sediment transport models for simulating a range of flow situations like dam overtopping failure, estuarine flow etc. Additionally, he works on CFD models based on the RANS equations for modelling flow around hydraulic structures.

Teaching

  1.  Advanced Computational Hydraulics
  2. Engineering Drawing and Graphics
