Dr Manoranjan Satpathy is a professor of Computer Science and Engineering at IIT Bhubaneswar. He has his education in Computer Science from IISc Bangalore, IIT Kanpur and IIT Bombay. He has earlier taught at IIT Guwahati, University of Reading and IIT Kharagpur. He has also worked as a Staff Researcher at General Motors R&D Bangalore. He is a recipient of Discovery Project Award from General Motors Global R&D. His research interests are Modelling and Verification of Software Systems, Formal Methods and Artificial Intelligence. Of late he is working on AI in Agriculture and AI in Medicine.
