IIT Bhubaneswar operates in two campuses, namely Permanent Campus at Argul and City Campus at Toshali Plaza (Satyanagar). All academic and majority of the residential activities are going on at Permanent Campus at Argul. The permanent campus of IIT Bhubaneswar at Argul is about 30 km from the Bhubaneswar City, 35 km from Bhubaneswar Biju Pattanaik International Airport and 8 km from Khurda Road Junction railway station. The Toshali (Satyanagar) campus is about 5 minutes drive (~4 km) from the Bhubaneswar Railway station and 15 minutes drive (~8 km) from the Airport.
