IEEE India Council recognizes and values the important role of members as volunteers to promote the IEEE objectives in India. It is the sustained hard work of the volunteers that makes a Council and respective Section relevant and beneficial to its members.

IEEE India Council Outstanding Volunteer Award aims to recognize those members who, through their work as a volunteer, exemplify the IEEE’s commitment to technical development of engineers, researchers, academicians and students.

Dr Samantaray will be honoured with the Award by IEEE India Council during IEEE INDICON 2017, scheduled to be held at IIT Roorkee in December 2017.
