Prof. U. C. Mohanty from SEOCS has won the "Biju Patnaik Award for Scientific Excellence"
Prof. U. C. Mohanty from School of Earth, Ocean and Climate Sciences in IIT Bhubaneswar has won the "Biju Patnaik Award for Scientific Excellence", the highest scientific award by the Government of Odisha for the year 2017.
The award investiture ceremony for the award will be held on 10.8.2018 (Friday, Today) at 5.30 p.m. in Jayadev Bhawan (Soochana Bhawan), Bhubaneswar.
Hon'ble Chief Minister of Odisha, Shri Naveen Patnaik will be the Chief Guest and will confer the award.
Shri Prangya Ranjan Rout, a Ph.D. research scholar from the School of Infrastructure, will receive the Young Scientist Award on the same occasion.
