Architecture and MAC protocol design for wireless-optical integrated networks, optical access networks, wireless access networks, edge computing, and free space optical networks.
 
Algorithm design using optimisation techniques or Game theory.
 
Dynamic spectrum sharing and emulation platform design using Mininet.

Biosketch

Atri Mukhopadhyay received the Ph.D. degree from the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, Kharagpur, India, in 2019. Thereafter, he has worked as a Post-Doctoral Researcher with the CONNECT Telecommunications Research Centre, Trinity College Dublin, Ireland. He was involved in ENABLE, CODYSUN and DTIF projects during his stay in Dublin.
 
Prior to joining IIT Bhubaneswar, he was working as an Assistant Professor in the Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) Pilani, Hyderabad Campus since November 2022.
 
His research interests include architecture and MAC protocol design for wireless-optical integrated networks, optical access networks, wireless access networks, edge computing, and free space optical networks. His primary focus is algorithm design using optimisation techniques or Game theory. He has also worked in dynamic spectrum sharing and emulation platform design using Mininet.
