Dr. Mohit Somani currently serves as an Assistant Professor in the School of Infrastructure at the Indian Institute of Technology Bhubaneswar. Prior to joining IIT Bhubaneswar, Dr. Somani worked as a postdoctoral fellow at the Norwegian Geotechnical Institute (NGI), Oslo. His primary reseach interests lie in the field of Environmental Geotechnics, with a specific focus on landfill reclamation and aftercare, as well as the identification and remediation of contaminated soils. Offlate, Dr. Somani has also commenced research on the identification of (neo)geomaterials.
