HPV vaccination on Payment Basis
A paid HPV vaccination drive for females aged 11 to 45 years was successfully conducted at Sanjeevan Health Centre in association with AIIMS Bhubaneswar on April 6, 2026. The two-hour program focused on creating awareness about the prevention of Human Papillomavirus (HPV), a common infection that can lead to cervical cancer, the second most common cancer among women and vaccination. Dr. Swayam Pragyan Parida, Addl. Prof., Community Medicine & Family Medicine, AIIMS Bhubaneswar led the awareness session. A similar drive was conducted on March 16, 2026 as well in which 24 participants were vaccinated.
A total of 26 participants attended the session and received the HPV vaccine after completing proper registration and undergoing basic health screening. The vaccination drive was carried out smoothly under medical supervision, ensuring both safety and efficiency throughout the process.
Overall, the initiative played an important role in spreading awareness about the significance of HPV vaccination and encouraged women to take proactive steps toward safeguarding their health. The event was coordinated by Dr. Mansoor Ali Khan, SMO, Dr. Seema Bahinipati, PIC Healthcare, Ms. Subhalaxmi Swain, Staff Nurse and other members of Sanjeevan Health Centre.
