Highlights of Placement 2026
Key highlights
- A total of 331 students had registered from UG (B.Tech). Out of which 313 participated in the placement process. So far, 267 students have been placed.
- Undergraduate placement is 85.30%, and placements will continue till the end of July 2026.
- The highest domestic CTC offered was 3 Lakhs per annum, the highest ever received till date in IIT BBS.
- Tech placements have reached 71.1% now. The placement process will continue till the end of July 2026. A few more companies are still expected to hire from M.Tech branches.
- Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs)such as Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), Engineers India Limited (EIL), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL), and Gujarat Mineral Development Corporation (GMDC) have participated in the campus placements.
- Multi-National Companies (MNCs)like Google, Microsoft, Reliance Industries Limited, Flipkart, E. Shaw & Co., Accenture Japan, Accenture India, Media.net, Zomato, MathWorks, Caterpillar Inc., HCL Technologies, Tata Steel (including Tata Steel R&T), AIRA Matrix, Maruti Suzuki, Applied Materials, Larsen & Toubro (L&T), Jindal Stainless Limited, Jindal Steel & Power, Vedanta Limited, Visa Inc., HSBC (HSBC Digital), JPMorgan Chase, MAQ Software, Skyroot Aerospace, ICICI Bank, NIUM, Samsung R&D, Rippling, Hitachi, WSP India, Baker Hughes, Schneider Electric, and Tiger Analytics have participated in this year of placements.
- Pre-final year B.Tech students have received internship offers in reputed industries.
