Highlights of Placement 2024
Key highlights
- A total of 309 students had registered from UG (B.Tech). Out of which 280 participated in the placement process. So far, 234 students have been placed.
- Undergraduate placement is 85% and placements would continue till the end of August 2024.
- The highest domestic CTC offered was 64 Lakhs per annum, the highest ever received till date in IIT BBS.
- Average salary is 17.16 Lakh per Annum for B.Tech and 8.96 Lakh Per Annum for M.Tech.
- More than 13% of students received offers with a CTC greater than 25LPA, while around 34% of students received offers with a CTC greater than 15 LPA.
- M.Tech placements have reached 75% now. Placement process will continue till the end of August 2024. A good number of companies are still expected to hire from M.Tech branches.
- Public Sector Undertaking (PSUs) such as Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), C-DOT, Engineers India Limited (EIL), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL), Oil India Limited (OIL) & MECON Limited have participated in the campus placements.
- Multi-National Companies (MNCs) like Google, Microsoft, Reliance Industries Ltd, Flipkart, D.E.Shaw, Oracle, Unistring Tech Solutions, Accenture Japan, Media.Net, Jaguar Land Rover, Analog Devices, Zomato, MathWorks, Caterpillar, Hcl Technologies, Tata Steel R&T, AIRA Matrix, Advanced RISC Machine (ARM), Maruti Suzuki, Applied Materials, L&T Limited, Jindal Stainless Limited, Jindal Steel & Power, Vedanta, Turing, Tiger Analytics and Tata Steel have participated in this year of placements.
- Pre-final year B.Tech students have received internship offers in reputed industries.
