About Guest House

Designed to host the institute guests, the institute guest house (IGH) is one of the oldest facilities developed at IIT Bhubaneswar. IGH was inaugurated by the then-director, Prof. Madhusudan Chakraborty on 12-May 2014. Currently, IGH houses 42 single and twin-sharing air-conditioned rooms with all modern amenities, two deluxe suites, a meeting room, and a dining hall.

Guest Specific Information

  • Meals can be booked at the reception: (Lunch by 9:00 hrs, Dinner by 14:00 hrs.)
  • Guests are advised to get the rooms cleaned in their presence only. If the guests have no objection for getting the room cleaned in their absence, they should deposit the keys at the reception.
  • Guests are not allowed to visit the rooms occupied by other guests without prior permission from the concerned guest and vice-versa.
  • Consumption of Narcotics/Alcoholic drinks etc. is strictly prohibited in GH premises.
