Highlights of Placement 2025
Key highlights
- A total of 315 students had registered from UG (B.Tech). Out of which 282 participated in the placement process. So far, 254 students have been placed.
- Undergraduate placement is 90.07% and placements will continue till the end of July 2025.
- The highest domestic CTC offered was 67.6 Lakhs per annum, the highest ever received till date in IIT BBS.
- M.Tech placements have reached 64.12% now. The placement process will continue till the end of July 2025. A few more companies are still expected to hire from M.Tech branches.
- Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) such as Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), Engineers India Limited (EIL), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL), Oil India Limited (OIL), Gujarat Mineral Development Corporation (GMDC) & MECON Limited have participated in the campus placements.
- Multi-National Companies (MNCs) like Google, Reliance Industries Ltd, D.E. Shaw, Oracle, Unistring Tech Solutions, Accenture Japan, Media.Net, Zomato, MathWorks, Caterpillar, HCL Technologies, Tata Steel R&T, AIRA Matrix, Applied Materials, L&T Constructions, Jindal Stainless Limited, Jindal Steel & Power, Havells India, JEH Aerospace, Saint Gobain, Hitachi Energy, Ather, Tata Capital, Schneider Electric, Vedanta, Turing, Tiger Analytics, and Tata Steel have participated in this year of placements.
- Pre-final year B.Tech students have received internship offers in reputed industries.
