  • Special guests and media persons occupy the first 4 rows (A-D) in the ground floor of the Auditorium.
  • All graduands sit in the allotted zones in the ground floor of the Auditorium.
  • One parent of each graduand sits in the balcony of the Auditorium, and if seats are not available here, in the last two rows (R-S) of the ground floor.
  • Remaining  parents  view  the  Convocation  remotely  by  sitting  in  Lalitgiri  Hall  of Learning located 0.5 km from the Auditorium.

09:50 hrs.Dean, Post Graduate and Research Programs presents the names of the  recipients of PhD, M.Tech, M.Sc Degrees, B.Tech & Dual Degrees.
Director charges all the degree recipients (they rise and remain standing)
09:57 hrs.The  Chief  Guest  awards  the  President  of  India  Gold  Medal,  Director’s  Gold Medal and Institute Silver Medals for both 2023 and 2024 Batches of students.
10:15 hrs.Pledge by Degree Recipients
10:19 hrs.Address by the Chairman, Board of Governors (5 min)
10:25 hrs.Addresses by Guests of Honour

Degree Distribution Ceremony (post lunch)
Two separate sessions for (all PhD + 2023 Batch) and 2024 Batch
The finer details of sequence of distribution are subject to revision.

  • All PhD and 2023 BATCH graduands take allotted seats in the Auditorium.
  • Parents of these graduands occupy the vacant seats behind the graduands.
  • 2024 Batch graduands /parents occupy the vacant seats in the Balcony floor if they wish.
  • Senators occupy the seats on the dais.
14:00 hrs.Distribution of Degree Certificates to all the PhD recipients by the Director

  • 2024 BATCH graduands take allotted seats in the Auditorium.
  • Parents of these graduands occupy the vacant seats in the Auditorium.
  • Those outside the Auditorium should enter the auditorium through the front gate.
15:45 hrsDistribution of M.Tech, M.Sc, B.Tech & Dual Degree Certificates by the Director to the
2024 BATCH graduands following the same order as above.
17:30 hrs
  • Tea (in the parking space outside the Auditorium)
  • Experience  sharing  and  feedback  session  with  the  Director  and  Deans  (inside  the Auditorium) for interested graduands / parents from PhD, 2023 & 2024 BATCH.
