Short Term Course/ Faculty Development Programmes
Organising short-term courses (STC)/faculty development programmes (FDP) under QIP for faculty members of engineering institutions is supported by the AICTE. These courses open up avenues in which the institute’s faculty members with rich experience in new and upcoming areas can share their expertise with others. Teachers of engineering institutions throughout India have participated in these programmes and benefited from these courses.
Workshop/ Seminar/ Conference/ Symposium
IIT Bhubaneswar faculty members conduct various workshops, seminars, short-terms courses funded by Government organisations, public sectors, organisations and industries. In these courses interactive sessions are conducted to mutually the industry-academia interactions can happen and both can be benefitted. In addition, eminent speakers from reputed institutes and industries from India and abroad deliver lectures and interacts with participants.
In addition, national and international conferences and symposiums have been organised regularly by faculty members from IIT Bhubaneswar, with sponsorships from industries/organisations. In those events many participants come forward to discuss their research work on these forums.
