The Continuing Education Cell of IIT Bhubaneswar is planning to conduct the Summer Research Internship for Faculty (SRIF) every year during summer vacation (May – July) of the Institute for aspirant faculty fellows from various Institutes and Colleges. The selected applicants (aspirant faculty members) from various Engineering and Science Institutes and Colleges will come and spend the summer (May-July) for pursuing research under the guidance of a faculty mentor of IIT Bhubaneswar. The objective is to facilitate and orient the faculty fellows to undertake research. The faculty fellow will get an opportunity to interact and work with the IITBBS faculty mentor and his/her research students and get exposure research activities of the concerned lab. The SRIF programme works as a catalyst for those who are considering higher studies (Masters/PhD) at IIT Bhubaneswar in the near future and also motivate the aspirants to continue their research. The SRIF programme duration may range from 04 to 06 weeks during May- July of every year.
